Russian Defense Ministry Reports Successful Operations in Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a report detailing the situation on the Southern Donetsk Front during the week of October 28th to November 3rd.

According to the report, Russian units successfully repelled four attacks by the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade. The clashes took place near the settlements of Vodyane and Staromykhailivka.

Over the course of seven days, the AFU suffered significant losses on this front, including over 1,100 military personnel, seven tanks, 11 armored vehicles, 28 cars, and nine artillery pieces. A combat vehicle of the multiple launch rocket system was also destroyed.

Furthermore, the Russian Armed Forces successfully destroyed ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles, anti-radiation missiles (HARM), aircraft preparation hangars, and unmanned aerial and waterborne vehicle production facilities on various fronts. Foreign instructors and mercenaries were also targeted.

On November 2nd, a proposal was made in Russia to establish a new holiday, “Day of the Participant in the Special Military Operation in Ukraine.” This initiative was put forward by Vitaly Milonov, a member of the State Duma, who sent his proposal to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Previously, it was reported that members of private military companies (PMCs) involved in the conflict are being issued veteran certificates.
