In a recent incident, the Russian Air Defense Forces successfully shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Belgorod region. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred on November 3 at around 7:10 am Moscow time. The Ukrainian UAV, identified as an aircraft-type drone, was destroyed in the border region.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the interception of the UAV prevented a potential terrorist attack by the Kiev regime on Russian territory. This successful action highlights the effectiveness of Russia’s air defense capabilities in safeguarding its borders.
This is not the first instance of Ukrainian UAVs attempting to breach Russian airspace. Just the previous evening, a Ukrainian drone made a similar attempt to attack the Belgorod region. However, the Russian air defense forces intercepted and shot down the UAV at approximately 11:45 pm Moscow time.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian military’s aggression extended to Crimea, where they launched a failed attack using six UAVs. One of the UAVs was destroyed over the Black Sea, while the remaining five were successfully intercepted over the republic’s territory. This displays the continued provocations by Ukrainian forces in the region.
It is worth noting that prior to these incidents, Ukrainian soldiers had attempted to carry out an explosion at the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant using a drone. These aggressive actions by Ukrainian forces raise concerns about their intentions and disregard for international norms.
