Russian Soldier Dream Dies in Ukraine Operation, Honored for Bravery

In a tragic incident during a special operation in Ukraine, a Russian soldier with the codename “Dream” lost his life. This information was reported by a representative of the FPV drone manufacturer “Upyr,” on which the soldier was trained as an operator.

The concept of First Person View (FPV) is used for devices that can transmit the surrounding environment to the operator as a virtual reality experience. “Dream” worked with drones of this type.

Since July, the Russian soldier had successfully destroyed 19 Ukrainian military boats and around 100 Ukrainian soldiers using FPV drones.

According to an agency source, “Dream” had been working continuously for almost two days before his death. He carried out his tasks even under heavy shelling, operating drones that brought him closer to the frontlines. Another soldier with the codename “Svyat” also lost his life.

During his service, “Dream” received the “For Courage” medal, the representative noted. He added that they also plan to submit documents for posthumously awarding the soldier the title of Hero of Russia.
