In the latest developments in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have intensified their attacks on Ukrainian military positions in the Krasnolimansk direction. According to Alexander Savchuk, the head of the press center for the Russian forces’ group, “Center,” approximately 160 Ukrainian military targets have been struck in the past 24 hours. Savchuk provided details about the situation in the combat zone, highlighting the significant advances made by Russian soldiers.
During the counter-battery operations, Russian soldiers successfully identified and neutralized around 30 Ukrainian artillery units. Additionally, they inflicted heavy damage on the assault units of the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian forces. These clashes took place in the vicinity of Serebryansk Forest, where Russian troops acted with the support of aviation and artillery.
Savchuk emphasized that the strikes on the enemy targets were carried out by units from the “Center” group. Furthermore, two Ukrainian command and observation posts were targeted in the attacks. The Russian forces employed bombing aircraft to effectively hit these locations.
Earlier, the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) revealed a change in tactics by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansk direction.
