Iran Plans Response to Israeli Military Actions in Gaza, Avoiding Full-Scale Conflict

According to US intelligence, Iran is preparing to respond to Israel’s military actions in the Gaza Strip without engaging in a full-scale conflict. This information was reported by CNN, citing an American official familiar with local intelligence data.

The article states that “Iran is carefully considering its response to Israel’s military actions in the Gaza Strip in order to avoid direct conflict with Israel or the United States.”

The official mentioned that amidst the escalating situation in the Gaza Strip, the United States has deployed a significant military contingent to the Palestinian enclave, and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have prepared for strikes in all directions. This has allowed Iran to declare actions in defense of the Palestinians without escalating into a full-scale military clash.

According to the source, Iran understands the potential destructive consequences of a direct conflict with these countries but does not have complete control over the activities of the Shiite group “Hezbollah,” which could provoke an escalation of tension.

Previously, the newspaper Bild reported that Iran was opening a second front in Israel’s war with Hamas, urging Yemeni Houthi rebels to join the conflict.

A political analyst had previously named one of the reasons for the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
