Increased Use of Imported Leopard Tanks by Ukrainian Forces in Attacks on Russian Army Positions in Zaporizhia

Commander of the UAV group of the 1430th regiment of the Russian Armed Forces, with the call sign “Yakut,” has reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have significantly increased their use of Leopard tanks in attacks on Russian army positions in the Zaporizhia region. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Their equipment is mainly imported. They have practically no domestic equipment. They have started deploying Leopards again,” said the Russian military officer.

According to him, these tanks were not present before and have now appeared. He also noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are once again receiving NATO equipment, which the enemy is using in an attempt to capture settlements.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops managed to repel an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Rabotino in the Zaporizhia region. He also mentioned that the situation on this front line segment is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. Rogov reported that Russian military personnel successfully counterattacked in the area of the settlement of Rabotino in the Zaporizhia region. Rogov noted that the Ukrainian army lost about 40 soldiers and more than ten pieces of equipment.

In the past 24 hours, Russian troops have also repelled five attacks on the Vremevsk direction and conducted counterattacks. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) amounted to approximately 130 individuals.

Earlier, the United States acknowledged the failure of the UAF’s counteroffensive.
