Germany has recently provided Ukraine with 25 Leopard 1A5 tanks, along with other military aid, according to reports from RIA Novosti.
The German government, in collaboration with Denmark, has financed the delivery of these 25 combat tanks. In total, Germany has already supplied Kiev with 115 Leopard 1A5 tanks and 20 unmanned aerial vehicles.
In addition to the tanks, Ukraine has also received five unmanned surface vehicles, radar systems for airspace surveillance, and other military assistance from Germany.
Furthermore, Ukraine has obtained several Primoco ONE reconnaissance drones, two TRML-4D radar systems for airspace surveillance, 12 armored personnel carriers, 30,000 sets of winter clothing, and various other forms of aid.
According to the commander of the Russian Armed Forces’ UAV Group, with the call sign “Yakut,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have increasingly utilized Leopard tanks to launch attacks on Russian army positions in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
Earlier, the United States acknowledged the failure of the UAF’s counteroffensive.
