Conservative Critics Label President Biden’s Claims as Falsehoods in Son’s Corruption Probe

In a recent development, Politico’s claim that there was no smoking gun in President Biden’s corruption probe has sparked a heated debate among conservatives. The article sheds light on President Biden’s claims during the 2020 presidential debates, which are now being labeled as falsehoods as evidence continues to emerge in the investigations into his son Hunter’s foreign business dealings.

During the debates, President Biden stated, “My son has not made money in terms of this thing you’re talking about, what are you talking about, China.” However, Hunter Biden contradicted his father earlier this year, admitting in court that he received $664,000 from a “Chinese infrastructure investment company.” This revelation has raised questions about the accuracy of President Biden’s statements.

Further investigations have revealed that in December 2013, Hunter Biden traveled with his father on an Asia trip, which included a stop in China. During this trip, Hunter introduced his Chinese business partner, Jonathan Li, to his father in the lobby of their hotel. Additionally, a closed-door interview with Hunter’s former business partner, Devon Archer, disclosed that the elder Biden also had meetings with him during the visit. Shortly after, Hunter entered into a joint-venture called BHR Partners, a Beijing-backed private equity firm controlled by Bank of China Limited.

Conservative critics, such as GOP Rep. Pat Fallon of Texas, have taken to social media to express their skepticism. Rep. Fallon posted, “Lie, deny, counter accuse. The three principles of the Biden family influence peddling scheme!” Moreover, the House Oversight Committee released information suggesting that Biden received $40,000 in “laundered China money” from his brother and sister-in-law’s bank account in the form of a personal check. This contradicts another debate claim made by candidate Biden, where he stated, “I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life!”

The House Oversight Chair, James Comer, highlighted that even if the check was a loan repayment, it still demonstrates how Joe Biden benefited from his family cashing in on his name, with money from China no less. President Biden has consistently maintained that he was never involved in his son’s business dealings. However, text messages obtained by Digital in 2020 revealed that Joe Biden met with Hunter’s business associates for the Sinohawk venture, including Tony Bobulinski, just 11 days before an email discussing remuneration packages for the business deal.

The authenticity of the Hunter Biden laptop, which contains these communications, has been a topic of contention. President Biden dismissed the laptop as Russian “misinformation” during the debates, despite numerous media outlets independently verifying its legitimacy. This further adds to the skepticism surrounding the accuracy of President Biden’s claims.

As the investigations continue, critics argue that these revelations raise serious concerns about potential corruption and conflicts of interest involving the Biden family. Meanwhile, the White House has not responded to requests for comment on these recent developments.

It is important to note that this article reflects the viewpoints of conservative critics and presents their perspective on the ongoing investigations into President Biden and his son’s foreign business dealings.
