Air Raid Sirens Sound in Israeli Port City of Ashdod

In a major Israeli port city of Ashdod, air raid sirens have been sounded, according to a message from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their Telegram channel.

The IDF had previously reported new information stating that over three thousand Hamas militants had infiltrated Israel on October 7.

The IDF also reported a strike on Lebanese territory, from where a rocket had been launched towards Israel.

On November 1, the spokesperson for the IDF, Danielle Hagee, announced that the Israeli Ground Forces had breached the defense line of the Hamas Palestinian movement in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. She clarified that the IDF had employed combined and coordinated attacks from land, sea, and air to break through the defense.

On October 31, the military wing of the Hamas Palestinian movement, known as the “Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades,” declared another strike on Tel Aviv.

Previously, Prime Minister Netanyahu had outlined Israel’s objectives in the war against Hamas.
