Representative of the Yemeni movement “Ansar Allah,” Yahya Sari, has stated that the Houthis have carried out another drone strike on Israel. The statement, published in a Telegram channel by the brigadier general of the Yemeni army, claims that the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have reached their targets.
“In the past few hours, the Armed Forces of Yemen launched a large batch of drones towards certain targets deep within the Zionist entity [Israel] on the occupied territory of Palestine,” the statement said.
Sari confirms that the UAVs have successfully reached their intended targets.
Prior to this, Sari had announced that Yemen planned to carry out a missile strike on Israel on November 1.
On November 1, rebels from the Houthi movement in Yemen released a video showing the launch of rockets towards Israel.
The Houthis had planned to launch ballistic and guided missiles, as well as drones, towards Israel.
On October 31, Al Masirah TV reported that the Houthis had conducted several strikes using drones and guided missiles.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had vowed to destroy Hamas.
