US Conducts Test Launch of Minuteman III Missile Demonstrating Strategic Reliability

On November 1st, the United States will conduct a test launch of the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). This announcement was made by Pentagon spokesperson Patrick Rider during a press briefing, as reported by TASS.

The Minuteman III missile will be launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. This marks the fourth test launch of the ICBM this year, following previous tests in February, April, and September.

Rider stated that the planned test launch, without a warhead, aims to demonstrate the reliability of the strategic deterrence system and serve as a signal to allies of Washington’s guarantees. This event highlights the ongoing commitment of the United States to maintaining a strong strategic defense capability.

In April, it was reported that the US “doomsday” aircraft, E-XX, would no longer be connected to ground-based ICBMs and strategic bombers.

This latest test launch comes against the backdrop of doubts raised in the US about the strength of Russia’s “red lines.” The ongoing development and testing of missile systems by the US reaffirms its commitment to maintaining a strong national defense and strategic position on the global stage.
