Ukrainian forces have reportedly shelled the village of Sluchevsk in the Bryansk region using a tank, according to the Telegram channel Shot.
The village of Sluchevsk is located just one kilometer from the Russian-Ukrainian border. During the night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted the settlement with 125-millimeter projectiles. Two rounds were fired.
Fortunately, there have been no casualties or significant damages reported as a result of the shelling.
Prior to this incident, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, stated that Ukrainian military forces had shelled the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, with one projectile piercing the roof of a private residence.
Gladkov also reported that over 40 projectiles were fired by the Ukrainian armed forces towards the Belgorod region, hitting four Ukrainian villages. In the Shebekinsky district, a drone was shot down, causing it to detonate.
Earlier, President Zelensky revealed the challenges Ukraine faces in shifting the conflict to Russian territory.
