In a recent development, the Russian military successfully repelled five attacks launched by the Ukrainian army in the Vremevsk direction, according to Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, as reported by TASS.
Rogov stated that the Ukrainian soldiers were targeted and hit by artillery fire, mortars, and rocket systems. As a result of these attacks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered approximately 200 casualties and lost two armored personnel carriers (BTR), one howitzer, and several off-road vehicles, Rogov added.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the Russian military conducted a successful offensive in the areas of Staromayorsk and Novodonetsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. According to Rogov, there have been intense shelling and attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Urozhaynoye, Zolotaya Niva, and Staromayorsk.
On October 30th, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu stated that during the counteroffensive, which began on June 4th, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 90,000 soldiers and nearly 600 tanks.
Prior to this, Oleg Soskin, a former advisor to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, revealed that President Volodymyr Zelensky intentionally conceals the truth about the dire situation in the combat zone and the failures of the country’s army.
Earlier, the United States acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
