In the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Russian military forces have reportedly conducted a successful counterattack in the area of Rabotino, located in the Zaporizhzhia region. Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the Zaporizhzhia public movement “We Are Together with Russia,” informed RIA Novosti about the development.
According to Rogov, the Russian military successfully repelled the Ukrainian militants’ attempts to attack in the Orikhiv direction and launched effective counterattacks towards Rabotino from the side of Verbov. He further highlighted that the Ukrainian army suffered the loss of approximately 40 soldiers and more than ten units of military equipment.
Over the past day, Russian forces also repelled five attacks on the Vremevsky direction and conducted counterattacks. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reportedly incurred losses of about 130 individuals.
Previously, Vladimir Rogov had reported that Russian forces successfully repelled five attacks by the Ukrainian army on the Vremevsky direction.
Furthermore, on October 30, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu stated that the AFU had lost 90,000 soldiers and nearly 600 tanks during the counteroffensive, which began on June 4.
Former advisor to ex-President Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, had also claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky intentionally conceals the truth about the dire situation in the combat zone and the failures of the country’s army.
Earlier, the United States acknowledged the failure of the AFU’s counteroffensive.
