The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Monday that they have successfully eliminated one of the commanders of the Hamas Naval Forces, the commander of the anti-tank rocket division, and several other high-ranking representatives of the movement in the Gaza Strip. This information was reported in the IDF’s Telegram channel.
The IDF emphasized that Israeli military forces have eliminated four important members of Hamas in the past few hours. Among them are Jamil Baba, the commander of the Naval Forces, and Muhammad Safadi, the commander of the anti-tank rocket division in the “Tuffah” battalion.
Earlier, it was reported that since the beginning of the escalation in the Gaza Strip, Israeli ground forces have continued to engage in direct clashes with the Palestinian movement Hamas.
On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, capturing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. The Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, and the Israeli National Security Council has decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the region. On October 13th, Israel informed the United Nations that 1.1 million Palestinians must evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip within 24 hours in anticipation of a ground operation in Gaza.
