The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the destruction of dozens of terrorists in Gaza who had barricaded themselves in buildings and tunnels and attempted to attack Israeli forces. This information was reported by the IDF’s Telegram channel.
The IDF stated that in the past few days, they have targeted over 600 terrorist sites, including weapon warehouses, dozens of anti-tank missile launch positions, as well as hideouts and staging areas used by Hamas militants.
In one of the clashes, an IDF aircraft crashed into a staging area inside a Hamas-owned building, where more than 20 people were located.
During the night of October 30, IDF soldiers discovered armed Palestinian militants and an anti-tank missile launcher near Al-Aqsa University and sent fighter jets to the location.
On October 7, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, initiating the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants invaded Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared that the country was in a state of war.
The Israeli Defense Forces’ counter-operation, named “Iron Swords,” aims to destroy Hamas. The Israeli Air Force has conducted strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli National Security Council decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the sector. On October 13, Israel informed the United Nations that 1.1 million Palestinians must evacuate to the southern part of Gaza within 24 hours in preparation for a ground operation in Gaza.
Earlier, Israel’s far-right Minister of National Security, Ben-Gvir, stated that only “hundreds of tons of explosives” and “not a gram of humanitarian aid” should be sent to Gaza until civilian hostages are freed.
