Ukrainian Drone Damages Gas Processing Plant in Russia’s Krasnodar Region

A Ukrainian drone has caused damage to a gas processing plant in an attack on the Krasnodar Oil Refinery (NPZ), according to the Telegram channel Shot, citing a source.

The information resource reports that the installation was damaged as a result of an explosion, followed by a fire that was extinguished by the plant’s staff.

As Shot clarifies, the explosion near the Afipsky NPZ occurred at around 3:20 am Moscow time. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces had shot down over 40 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian armed forces in the past day.

On the night of October 29, the Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems had destroyed 36 Ukrainian drones in the Black Sea region and the northwest part of Crimea.

In early October, a fire broke out at the Prokopievsk Oil Depot in the Kemerovo region.

Earlier, an oil tank exploded in the Komi Republic.
