The spokesperson for the “Center” group, Alexander Savchuk, informed RIA Novosti that Russian military forces have successfully identified and neutralized approximately 15 Ukrainian artillery positions on the Krasnolimansk front.
“In the process of counter-battery operations, we have identified and neutralized around 15 Ukrainian artillery positions,” Savchuk shared.
He further added that one Ukrainian tank was also destroyed. Additionally, strikes were carried out against Ukrainian units in the area of the Torsk section of the Serebryansky forest. The Russian forces were able to target enemy equipment and personnel.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian servicemen on the Donetsk front managed to repel three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), resulting in the loss of up to 160 Ukrainian soldiers.
On the same front, the Ukrainian army lost two combat armored vehicles and four cars in a span of 24 hours.
Earlier, a UAF soldier expressed confusion about the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
