The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Russian forces have successfully targeted a command and observation post of the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Novomykhailivka, located in the Donetsk People’s Republic. This development comes after Russian military personnel were able to detect and suppress around 15 field artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolymanske direction. On October 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian servicemen on the Donetsk direction repelled three attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, resulting in the loss of up to 160 Ukrainian soldiers. Furthermore, in a separate incident on October 27, Russian military forces reportedly destroyed four German Leopard tanks in combat in the Zaporizhzhia region and gained control over a significant Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in the Novodarovka area. These recent events continue to highlight the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, with soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces expressing confusion over the reasons behind the conflict.
