The Russian military group “Vostok” has launched attacks on the live forces and military equipment of four brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), including locations near Ugledar and Urozhainoye. This information was announced by the head of the group’s press center, Oleg Chekhov, as reported by RIA Novosti.
He stated, “On the Southern Donetsk direction, we have inflicted artillery strikes on the concentration areas of live forces and units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
According to Chekhov, the strikes occurred near the settlements of Novomikhailovka, Katerinovka, Vodyanaya, Ugledar, Zolotaya Niva, Urozhainoye, and Staromayorsk. Airborne assault, mechanized, motorized infantry brigades, as well as the Ukrainian army’s territorial defense brigade, were affected.
Previously, Chekhov had announced that the personnel and equipment of five Ukrainian army brigades had been targeted by the bombing and artillery fire of the Russian military group “Vostok” on the Southern Donetsk direction.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported losses in the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Zaporizhzhia direction.
