In a recent update from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it has been reported that Russian military personnel successfully repelled three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) on the Donetsk front. As a result, the Ukrainian troops suffered significant casualties, with up to 160 soldiers lost.
According to the Russian defense department, the enemy attacks were thwarted, and significant damage was inflicted on the UAF’s personnel and equipment in the areas of Krasnoe, Andreevka, Kurdiumovka, Klescheevka, and Mariinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Furthermore, it has been noted that the Ukrainian army lost two combat armored vehicles and four automobiles on the same front within a 24-hour period.
“In the course of counter-battery combat, the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system, as well as the American-made M119 howitzer, were successfully neutralized,” the ministry stated.
Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of a German Leopard tank by Russian forces on the Zaporizhzhia front.
On October 27, Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, announced that Russian military personnel engaged in combat in the Orehovsk direction in the Zaporizhzhia region and successfully destroyed four German Leopard tanks. He also mentioned that Russian forces managed to gain control of a significant strategic point held by the UAF in the vicinity of Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Previously, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier expressed confusion about the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
