The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the defeat of the command and control center of the Ukrainian Air Force at the Kanatovo airfield in the Kirovohrad region.
According to the publication, “Operational-tactical and army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces have inflicted damage on the personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 117 districts.”
The Ministry of Defense also reported that the Russian Armed Forces repelled three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kupyansk direction in the past 24 hours.
On October 27, Vitaliy Ganchev, the head of the administration in the Russian-controlled part of the Kharkiv region, revealed the Ukrainian authorities’ plans to forcibly evacuate families with children from 10 settlements located in the Kupyansk district. However, there is still no information about where the citizens will be sent.
On the same day, retired Lieutenant General Roland Kater of the German Armed Forces stated that Russian troops are advancing meter by meter on the Kupyansk direction. The expert described the current situation on the front as a “conflict of attrition.”
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian forces had lost up to two platoons of personnel on the Kupyansk direction.
