Rockets Fired at Israel from Lebanon, Amid Ongoing Conflict with Hamas

Air raid sirens sounded in the city of Ashkelon in southern Israel and in the areas adjacent to the Gaza Strip. This was reported in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Telegram channel.

In another statement by the IDF, it was mentioned that after the initial report of sirens sounding in northern Israel, several anti-tank rockets and mortar shells were launched from Lebanese territory towards Israel.

Prior to this, the military wing of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas announced a rocket attack on Tel Aviv.

Earlier, the IDF Telegram channel reported that Israeli soldiers carried out strikes on underground targets located in the northern Gaza Strip on the night of October 28th.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared that the country is in a state of war.

Previously, Prime Minister Netanyahu promised to destroy Hamas.
