Israeli Army Strikes Hezbollah in Response to Rocket Attacks

In a retaliatory move, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched an attack on a Hezbollah military target in Lebanon on Saturday, October 28. This action was taken in response to rocket launches by Hezbollah into Israeli territory on Friday, October 27, as confirmed by the army’s press office.

According to the statement, “Hezbollah attempted to launch rockets into Israeli territory on Friday… The rockets fell in Syria.”

The IDF fighter jet struck the Hezbollah military target in Lebanon during the night as a response to the previous day’s rocket attacks.

Prior to this incident, it was reported that IDF fighter jets had targeted Hamas Air Force commander Asem Abu Rakabe on the night of October 28. The IDF claimed that Abu Rakabe was involved in planning military operations in residential areas near the Gaza Strip on October 7 of this year.

Israel had intensified its strikes on targets in the Gaza Strip the day before and announced the “expansion of operations” on the enclave’s territory. Further details can be found in the article on “Gazeta.Ru”.

Earlier, Hamas had reported clashes with the Israeli army in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.
