Israel Reports Rocket Attacks from Lebanon, Strikes Back at Hezbollah

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they detected three rocket launches from Lebanon towards Israel, according to their Telegram channel.

“After initial reports of sirens sounding in northern Israel, three launches from Lebanese territory towards Israel were detected,” the IDF statement said.

It is clarified that the projectiles landed in open areas. In response, the Israeli military launched strikes on Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in Lebanon.

Prior to this, the IDF had reported that an Israeli drone had targeted a “terrorist cell” attempting to launch anti-tank rockets from Lebanon.

On the morning of October 28, IDF spokesperson Danielle Hagari stated that Israeli soldiers had entered the northern areas of the Gaza Strip, expanding the scope of their ground operations.

The IDF also reported that military forces had targeted 150 underground targets in the Gaza Strip. It was noted that Israeli soldiers attacked underground tunnels and other infrastructure belonging to the Palestinian movement Hamas.

Earlier, Hamas had announced its readiness to confront the Israeli Defense Forces’ ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
