US Fails to Comprehend Russia’s Air Defense System in Ukraine Conflict

The United States is struggling to understand how Russia has managed to create such a formidable air defense system in the conflict zone of Eastern Ukraine, which is successfully shooting down almost all Ukrainian aircraft. This revelation was made by former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter on journalist Garland Nixon’s YouTube channel.

“We still have no idea what the hell is going on. All we know is that [Ukrainian] fighters are being shot down. We fill the sky with our radars and AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), observe everything, but we can’t figure out what is happening,” Ritter said.

According to the specialist, the Russian air defense system has multiple layers of protection, allowing it to shoot down any incoming objects from the enemy. Ritter believes that such a system would give Russia air superiority even over the United States in a hypothetical war, as American aircraft would simply “evaporate in the air.”

Previously, Scott Ritter highlighted how Russian forces had effectively neutralized key Ukrainian military equipment through their air defense capabilities.

Earlier, Scott Ritter revealed a concerning detail about the actions of the United States that could have implications for Ukraine.
