Ukrainian Armed Forces Receive Reconnaissance Drones from Slovenian Company

In a covert operation, Slovenian company C-Astral has supplied the Ukrainian armed forces with reconnaissance drones, according to reports from Defense News citing drone operator Erney Moderz.

The delivery reportedly included several tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) known as Bramor C4EYE.

“It is true that the Ukrainians are using them, and they have been doing so for some time. We have established communication channels with the troops using these drones to gather feedback and make necessary improvements,” clarified Erney Moderz in an interview with the publication.

Currently, there is no information regarding who specifically sent the drones to Ukraine. It is unclear whether the company itself or the Slovenian Ministry of Defense, which may have had to allocate drones from its own reserves, was responsible for the delivery.

Slovenian military equipment has been observed in Ukraine before. In the summer of 2023, reports emerged of the destruction of a Slovenian-provided M-55S tank on one of the fronts.

Earlier, a Ukrainian prisoner of war revealed concerns about the inadequate training of Ukrainian soldiers in Slovenia.
