Israeli Defense Forces Conduct Targeted Strikes on Hamas in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have released a video of a ground raid with armored vehicles in the Gaza sector and airstrikes on their Telegram channel.

According to the IDF, in the past 24 hours, they have conducted targeted raids in the Gaza sector and struck dozens of Hamas-owned targets in the Shuja’iya area and throughout the Gaza sector.

The strikes, as stated by the IDF, targeted anti-tank rocket launching pads, military command and control centers, as well as Hamas operatives.

Earlier, it was reported that IDF units had left the Gaza sector after the ground raid.

Abu Hamid, a representative of the Palestinian movement in Moscow, stated to the newspaper “Kommersant” that Hamas will not release hostages until a ceasefire agreement is reached.

On October 7, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the country is in a state of war.

The IDF’s counter-operation has been named “Operation Iron Swords,” with the aim of destroying Hamas.

Earlier, a political analyst identified one of the reasons for the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
