In a recent development, the Russian military forces of the “Dnepr” group have successfully thwarted an attempted landing by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) on Aleshkinsky Island. This incident, as reported by TASS, highlights the ongoing tensions in the region.
According to a spokesperson from the operational services of the Kherson region, the Russian military managed to destroy enemy forces on the right bank near Kherson. Two enemy boats and ten UAF militants were reportedly eliminated during the operation.
Prior to this, Russian paratroopers from Tula had intercepted a UAF breakthrough attempt near the village of Klescheevka, south of Artemovsk. The UAF had established a fortified position and were preparing to launch an attack at dawn, according to the Ministry of Defense.
