Ohio Woman Indicted on Murder Charges for Drugging and Robbing Men in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Rebecca Auborn, a 33-year-old woman from Columbus, Ohio, has been indicted on murder charges in connection with the deaths of at least four men in the city. The Ohio Attorney General, Dave Yost, announced the charges on Wednesday, revealing that investigators believe there may be more victims. According to the allegations, Auborn would meet men for sexual encounters, drug them, rob them, and ultimately cause their deaths.

The Columbus Division of Police has not provided further details about the ongoing investigation, but it is believed that there could be additional victims. In a statement, Yost warned against engaging in illegal activities, stating, “Don’t buy sex in Ohio – it ruins lives and could cost you yours.”

Authorities have revealed that four out of five of Auborn’s alleged victims died of drug overdoses between December 2022 and June 2023. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed. However, one man managed to survive the ordeal. Auborn had previously been indicted and pleaded not guilty to murder and drug-related charges in the January overdose death of one of the men.

Currently, Auborn is being held in the Franklin County jail, and her arraignment is scheduled for Friday. The attorney general’s office and investigators are focusing on her activities in northeast Columbus between December of last year and August 2023 as they continue their search for potential additional victims.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information related to this case to come forward.
