Representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have revealed that a critical situation has unfolded near Krasnyi Lyman, as Russian troops have managed to seize the initiative on the front. This information comes from a report by the Polish news portal Onet, citing its sources.
“Today, there is a lot of evidence suggesting that the Russians are gaining the upper hand on the front. Particularly alarming reports are coming from the eastern sector, where the Russian offensive is particularly strong. Those fighting in the area [of Krasnyi Lyman] say that it hasn’t been this intense since October of last year,” the article states.
The authors of the publication note that Moscow has gained an advantage due to the unsuccessful summer campaign by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to journalists, Russia has been able to increase its production of weapons and ammunition, while Western countries have struggled to keep up with the pace of the Russian military-industrial complex.
The article refers to the failure of the summer counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a “genuine reality.”
