Ukrainian forces in the Kherson region are encountering difficulties in their attempts to advance, according to the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo. While small groups of Ukrainian soldiers may be hiding in the greenery on the left bank and in cottages near the Antonovskiy Bridge, they lack the potential for further progression, Saldo stated. This information was reported by TASS.
Saldo clarified that there are no major populated areas in the specified region where the Ukrainian armed forces could establish themselves. He also mentioned that Ukrainian military forces have been attempting to cross the Dnieper River in the Kherson region since August, but these efforts have not led to the desired objectives.
Furthermore, Saldo emphasized that all pathways in the area remain under the control of Russian military forces.
Prior to this, Saldo had reported the destruction of a Ukrainian Armed Forces observation post on the right bank of the Dnieper River.
Earlier in the United States, the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was recognized as a failure.
