Sirens Sound as Israel Faces Rocket Threat in the Carmel Region

Sirens of the air raid warning system were heard in the Carmel region of northwest Israel, alerting the population to the threat of rocket attacks. The Israel Defense Forces reported this on their Telegram channel.

“The sirens sounded in the Carmel region,” the publication stated.

Prior to this, it was announced that the number of Russian citizens included in the lists for evacuation from Gaza has exceeded 500.

On October 25, Tal Heinrich, the spokesperson for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stated that there are certain anti-Israel sentiments within the United Nations.

On October 7, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, declaring the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country is in a state of war.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ counter-operation was named “Iron Swords,” with one of its objectives being the destruction of Hamas. Israeli Air Force conducted strikes on hundreds of militant targets in the Gaza Strip, and the National Security Council decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the enclave. On October 13, Israel informed the United Nations that 1.1 million Palestinians must be evacuated to the southern part of Gaza in anticipation of a ground operation.

Earlier, Israel’s representative to the UN called for Guterres to resign.
