Russian Forces Destroy Over 200 Ukrainian Soldiers in Donetsk

In a significant development in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the southern group of Russian forces has reportedly eliminated more than 200 Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) soldiers on the Donetsk front. This information was revealed by Vadim Astafyev, the chief spokesperson for the southern group of forces.

According to Astafyev, Russian aviation and artillery launched strikes on enemy troop concentrations in the areas of Klescheevka, Andreevka, and Kurdyumovka. Additionally, a group of infantry from the 77th separate airborne brigade of the UAF in the vicinity of Artemovsk was successfully neutralized.

During the counter-battery warfare, the Russian Armed Forces managed to destroy three 155mm self-propelled artillery units (SAUs) named Crub, which were manufactured in Poland, as well as a 155mm M-777 howitzer from the United States, and a 122mm SAU called “Gvozdika.”

Russian fighters also targeted and destroyed nine Ukrainian drones in the Zaytsevo and Berestove populated areas, along with five rounds of HIMARS reactive fire system.

Prior to this, Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of the Bryansk region, announced that Russian air defense systems and radio electronic warfare equipment had successfully destroyed four UAF drones.

Earlier, Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu inspected the advanced command post of the eastern group of forces in the Eastern Strategic Direction zone.
