Israeli Forces Detain Hundreds of Hamas Members in West Bank Operations

According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), a total of 608 members of Hamas have been detained on the West Bank of the Jordan River, with a total of around 900 Palestinians detained overall. This information was reported by TASS, citing the IDF’s press service.

Since the beginning of the military operations and counter-terrorism raids on the West Bank, a total of 930 wanted individuals have been apprehended, with at least 608 of them linked to the terrorist organization Hamas, according to the IDF’s press service.

Earlier, Munzer Hiyek, the spokesperson for Fatah (the Movement for the National Liberation of Palestine) representing the organization’s interests in Gaza, stated that the clashes between Palestinian resistance groups and the Israeli army could potentially escalate to cover the entire territory of Palestine.

The representative reiterated Fatah’s warning about the desecration of Christian and Muslim holy sites, attacks on Christian pilgrims and churches. Particularly concerning was the targeting of the Baptist hospital “Al-Ahli” in the Gaza sector and the persecution of Palestinians on the West Bank.

Previously, Hamas stated that it would release foreign hostages “when circumstances allow.”
