Ukrainian Governor Believes Child Evacuation is Attempt to Mislead Russian Forces

In a surprising turn of events, the evacuation of children from settlements on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region may be an attempt by Ukrainian fighters to deceive the Russian Armed Forces, according to the region’s governor, Vladimir Sald. This information was reported in the Telegram channel of a Kherson politician.

“For many months, neither the fighting nor the flooding caused by the occupiers themselves made them think about children. And suddenly, such an ‘unexpected’ move. Of course, it’s not about the children, they are deeply indifferent to them,” emphasized Sald.

According to the governor of the Kherson region, the Ukrainian side is hoping to mislead the Russian Armed Forces by inventing such maneuvers.

Sald added that the Russian military is prepared for any developments.

“However, we are aware of their primitive plans and we know what they are really up to,” he added.

Prior to this, it was announced that families with children will be evacuated from the controlled part of the Kherson region in Ukraine. At the time, it was clarified that this pertains to the front-line settlements. The information was provided by the head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin.

Earlier, the US acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
