Russian Military Destroys Ukrainian Boats in Herston Region, Governor Claims

According to Vladimir Saldo, the Governor of the Herston region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attempting to land sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) in the area from Aleshki to Nova Kakhovka. Saldo made this statement in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Saldo stated that Russian military forces have destroyed nine Ukrainian boats in the past three days.

“The most active area along the front line in the Herston region is the stretch along the Dnieper River from Aleshki to Nova Kakhovka. The enemy is attempting to land DRGs and evacuate the wounded,” said Saldo.

According to him, the paths along the railway bridge are “filled with the bodies” of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants.

Earlier, Saldo reported that three missiles launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces towards Crimea were shot down in the Herston region.

On October 22, the movement of vehicles on the Crimean Bridge was temporarily halted twice. As of 16:01, there were 180 vehicles in line from the Taman side, with an estimated waiting time of about an hour. There were no queues on the Kerch side.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 18 NATO-caliber shells at Donetsk.
