Russian Defense Ministry Reports Ukrainian Unmanned Vessels Detected in the Black Sea

In a recent development, the Russian Defense Ministry has announced that three unmanned vessels belonging to the Ukrainian Naval Forces were detected in the northern part of the Black Sea. The discovery was made by surveillance equipment at approximately 4:00 am Moscow time on Tuesday, October 24th. The Ministry of Defense further revealed that the unmanned vessels were targeted with anti-diversion missile-bomb complexes in the area of detection. Meanwhile, comprehensive anti-mine and anti-diversion measures are being conducted at the external roadstead of Sevastopol Bay.

This incident comes after Mikhail Razvozhaev, the governor of Sevastopol, reported an ongoing battle between the Russian fleet and saboteurs in the Black Sea. On September 22nd, Razvozhaev detailed an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. He urged local residents to refrain from approaching projectile fragments and advised against sharing photographs and videos from the scenes of the emergency and air defense operations.

Due to the threat of another strike, citizens were asked not to leave buildings and to seek shelter upon hearing sirens. After half an hour, Razvozhaev announced the cancellation of the air raid alert.

It is worth noting that on September 21st, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made a mass attempt to attack Crimea using drones. As a result of the air defense operation in the Black Sea waters and the territory of Crimea, 19 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed. Additionally, one drone each was shot down over the territories of the Kursk, Belgorod, and Oryol regions.

Earlier, there were reports of the destruction of ammunition from the Great Patriotic War in Sevastopol.
