Russian Air Force Receives New Batch of Su-35S Fighters from Aviation Plant

The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Yuri Gagarin, which is part of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) under the state corporation “Rostec,” has delivered a batch of new Su-35S fighters to the Russian Air and Space Forces, as reported by TASS.

The UAC emphasized that the aviation plant has achieved excellent production rates for these combat aircraft.

“This is not the last delivery of aviation complexes this year,” clarified the UAC.

The Su-35S holds a position as one of the main fighters in the Russian army. The UAC highlighted that this highly maneuverable aircraft is capable of performing a wide range of tasks. According to Yuri Slyusar, the CEO of the UAC, the machines are being delivered to the Air and Space Forces as per the schedule.

In late September, a Russian Su-35S destroyed a Ukrainian aircraft in the ATO zone. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the fighter crews were patrolling the designated area, providing cover for bomber and assault aircraft, as well as helicopters.

During a routine flight, the Russian Air and Space Forces pilots detected and eliminated an enemy aircraft.

Earlier, an expert listed the advantages of the Russian missile “Sarmat” over the American Minuteman III.
