Israeli Army Destroys Tunnel Used by Hamas Radicals to Infiltrate Israel

The Israeli army has successfully destroyed a tunnel in the Gaza Strip that was used by a group of radicals associated with the Hamas movement to enter Israeli territory. This development was reported by an Israeli armed forces Telegram channel.

The tunnel was discovered on the coast of the Gaza Strip, and it served as the entry point for the armed Palestinian group into Israel. The Israeli Air Force and Navy conducted a strike on the tunnel, effectively destroying it.

According to the report, there is currently no immediate risk of further infiltration by Palestinians into Israeli territory.

Earlier, Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eli Cohen, accused Iran of attempting to instigate a war in Lebanon through the radical organization Hezbollah. Cohen emphasized that Israel and Arab states face a common threat from Iran and terrorist organizations.

Israel’s President, Isaac Herzog, previously stated the country’s readiness for a possible conflict with Lebanon if the Shiite organization Hezbollah drags the country into a war.

Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, had earlier promised an unprecedented response that would be remembered for 50 years in the Gaza Strip.
