Critical Infrastructure Damaged in Explosions in Ukraine-Controlled City

Critical infrastructure has been damaged following explosions in the Ukrainian-controlled city of Kherson. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, in his Telegram channel.

He wrote, “[Damage] to critical infrastructure,” without specifying further details.

According to Prokudin, an engineering structure in the Kherson region, as well as the territory of a transport company and a factory, have been affected.

On the evening of October 22, the Ukrainian publication “Zerkalo Nedeli” reported explosions in Kherson, which is under Kiev’s control.

In addition, an object of port infrastructure has been damaged in the Odessa region. The defense forces of the southern part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) noted that the resulting fire after the explosion was quickly extinguished.

On the night of October 23, an air alarm was declared in the Odessa, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions. There were also series of explosions in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine, as reported by “Zerkalo Nedeli” and “Obshchestvennoye” publications.

Earlier, the Russian Armed Forces repelled four attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
