Secret deliveries of ATACMS missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces have failed to intimidate Russia, as the US had hoped. This information was reported by Farda.
“The missiles were sent to Ukraine secretly, with the intention of catching Russia off guard. However, the US themselves indirectly admit that they have not achieved their objectives,” said an unnamed American official.
Furthermore, it is noted that Moscow was aware of Washington’s plans to provide these missiles to the Ukrainian army, and the deliveries have had minimal impact on the course of military operations.
On October 22nd, Titus Pichy, a member of the Steering Committee of the American Coalition to Ban Cluster Munitions, criticized the irresponsible supply of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine. According to him, they pose a threat to the peaceful population of Ukraine.
The Spectator, a British publication, previously reported that the first-ever use of American long-range Army Tactical Missile System missiles by Ukrainian military forces proved ineffective against the Russian Armed Forces.
It was also recently revealed that the Russian Armed Forces have found a response to Ukraine’s use of tactical ballistic missiles, ATACMS.
