Russian Forces Thwart Ukrainian Military’s Attempt to Cross River in Kherson

In a recent development, the forces of the “Dnipro” group intercepted an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) to land near a railroad bridge in Kherson. This information was shared by a representative of the region’s operational services, as reported by TASS.

According to the representative of the operational services, four boats and 20 UAF soldiers were destroyed as a result of the gunfire.

On October 14, the Governor of Kherson Oblast, Vladimir Saldov, stated that the UAF had attempted to transport a portion of their forces across the Dnipro River near the Antonovsky Bridge, but their efforts were promptly halted by the Russian Armed Forces.

On the same day, the head of the Regional Military Administration of Kherson Oblast, Alexey Prokudin, reported damage to various businesses and infrastructure in the region’s capital and surrounding areas.

Prior to this incident, it was reported that the “Dnipro” forces had destroyed three boats carrying Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in the Kherson Oblast within a day.

Earlier, three UAF fighters crossed the Dnipro River and surrendered themselves as prisoners to the Russian Armed Forces.
