In a recent revelation, Jan Hahin, an advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), has disclosed to RIA Novosti that a private investigation conducted in the republic has confirmed the sale of Western weapons by Ukraine.
According to Hahin, the investigation was carried out a year ago by members of a special rapid response group, established under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“We found numerous offers and proposals for the sale of NATO weapons supplied to Ukraine on the darknet. There were photographs and videos depicting samples of weapons that were already on the frontlines, captured in combat positions. There were also sealed samples of weaponry,” Hahin revealed.
He further explained that anyone with sufficient funds could purchase anything from small firearms to missiles.
Hahin emphasized that individuals who bought these weapons were found in various locations, including the Middle East.
This revelation comes after Jake Sullivan, the assistant to the U.S. President for National Security, urged Congress to provide additional funding to Ukraine as their resources have nearly depleted.
Earlier, the U.S. had identified this situation as one of the biggest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
