Israeli Forces Strike Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon

Israeli military forces have launched strikes on Hezbollah targets located in Lebanon, according to a statement released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in their Telegram channel.

The statement mentions that the strikes targeted military infrastructure, including an observation post and a military complex. Additionally, Israeli soldiers attacked one of the cells of the Lebanese movement.

The IDF stated that the mentioned unit operated near the country’s border. However, further details have not been specified.

“The Israel Defense Forces have struck targets belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon,” the statement said.

On the night of October 23, the Israeli military announced that they had targeted two Hezbollah cells on the border. The corresponding publication in their Telegram channel clarified that the members of the movement intended to use anti-tank missiles to strike Israeli territory.

On October 22, Israel’s Minister of Industry and Economy, Nir Barkat, threatened that the country’s military would strike Iran if Hezbollah opened a second front in the north.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to inflict “enormous damage” on Lebanon if Hezbollah became more active in the Middle East conflict.
