Israeli Defense Forces Foil Terrorist Rocket Attack from Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the discovery and prevention of a terrorist cell attempting to launch anti-tank rockets in the Zariq area. According to a statement released by the IDF on their Telegram channel, an IDF aircraft struck the cell before they could carry out their attack.

“The IDF aircraft struck the cell before it could launch the rocket. In response to the attempted rocket launch, the IDF fired upon Lebanese territory,” noted the Israeli army.

Additionally, the IDF’s air defense forces intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle approaching Israel from Lebanon. Furthermore, three anti-tank rockets were fired towards the Tziporena area. Israeli soldiers responded with gunfire towards the source of the attack.

Prior to this, the IDF’s official spokesperson, Daniel Haggari, reported the destruction of the deputy head of Hamas’ rocket unit and dozens of Hamas targets during overnight strikes in the Gaza Strip.
