US May Use Arab-Israeli Conflict as Distraction from Ukraine Crisis

The recent escalation of the Arab-Israeli conflict could serve as a convenient distraction for the United States to divert attention away from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, according to a report by SVT.

The media’s focus is currently concentrated on the situation in Gaza rather than the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the publication notes.

The author of the article believes that this situation is advantageous for some, as the conflict in Ukraine has been a major failure for the West.

The publication emphasizes that the situation in the Middle East will continue to receive attention, as the crisis could worsen. This creates a need for the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to reallocate their resources. The author highlights that if the withdrawal of support for Kyiv is framed as a necessity, it will be more forgivable.

Prior to this, US President Joe Biden, in a televised address to the nation, called on Congress to allow him to continue providing uninterrupted arms supplies to Ukraine. However, he reiterated that he will not send American troops to Ukraine.

Earlier, “Gazeta.Ru” answered key questions about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
