Russian military forces have reportedly destroyed a Ukrainian ammunition depot in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), according to an official briefing from the Russian Ministry of Defense. The storage facility, located in the area of Pervomaiske, was said to contain ammunition intended for the fighters of the Ukrainian army’s 53rd Mechanized Brigade, as stated in the ministry’s statement.
The ministry also added that the enemy’s overall losses amounted to up to 100 Ukrainian servicemen. Additionally, during the clashes, Russian soldiers eliminated two combat armored vehicles, two cars, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost one D-30 howitzer.
Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the “We Stand with Russia” movement, reported on October 21 that the Russian Armed Forces had successfully counterattacked on the Vremevsk direction. He stated that as a result of the fighting near the Donetsk village of Novodoneckoe and the Zaporizhzhia village of Priyutne, Ukrainian units lost several dozen soldiers.
Earlier, the DPR announced the successful advancement of Russian forces along the entire contact line.
