Hezbollah Attacks Israeli Defense Forces: Tensions Escalate in the North

Hezbollah, the armed Lebanese organization, has once again targeted Israeli Defense Forces’ facilities in the northern part of the country. This information was reported by the national news agency of Lebanon.

According to further details from RIA Novosti, a missile strike was carried out on the military facility of Al-Abad, located opposite the town of Hula. Additionally, a “spy and observation tower” in close proximity to the Dabbak area was also targeted.

Mutual shelling has been ongoing on the Israel-Lebanon border for nearly two weeks. The situation has worsened following the initiation of the Israel Defense Forces’ military operation named “Iron Swords,” aimed at destroying the radical Palestinian group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

According to Israel’s Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, Hezbollah’s decision to engage in conflict against the Israelis will come at a “heavy price.” He revealed that since October 7, the Israel Defense Forces have eliminated approximately 13 members of the Lebanese organization.

On October 12, Israeli aircraft bombed Hezbollah targets in Lebanon for several hours.

Earlier, Lebanon called on Israel to cease fire for two days.
