In a recent statement to TASS, Denis Oslomenko, the CEO of the system’s developer company “Lab of PPSh”, announced that Russia is in the process of constructing a new night vision system called “Flint”. This innovative technology will allow military vehicles to move covertly during nighttime special operations. Oslomenko further revealed that the system is being designed for both cars and quad bikes.
The main advantage of the “Flint” system, according to Oslomenko, is its usefulness in evacuating wounded soldiers from the battlefield. By eliminating the need to switch on headlights during nighttime movements, the system ensures that enemy forces are unable to detect the vehicle. Oslomenko added that the system can be easily installed on the front part of a quad bike or on the roof of a car, with the camera’s feed transmitted to a screen or goggles.
The development of the “Flint” system is progressing rapidly, with Oslomenko stating that it will be ready for implementation by mid-November.
It is worth noting that last year, Israel developed a radar “X-ray” technology capable of determining a person’s position behind a wall.
In another military-related development, the political party “United Russia”, together with the Military-Industrial Company and the “Our Truth” Foundation, recently supplied drones to the 76th Guards Air Assault Division in Tokmak.
This latest advancement in Russian military technology highlights the country’s commitment to enhancing its military capabilities.
